Mission Statement

The mission of the Farmersville Fire Department is to help establish the baseline of safety and well-being of our citizens by protecting the lives and property of those in and around the Farmersville Fire Department Fire District. To this end the Farmersville Fire Department is charged with responding to all structure, grass and wild-land fires, vehicle collisions, emergency medical response, search and rescue, arson investigations, and other emergencies, whether natural or man made.

Overview

The Farmersville Fire Department has provided over 100 years of continuous service to the City of Farmersville and surrounding areas. Unlike all other city departments the Farmersville Fire Department Protection/response area spans well beyond the confines of the city limits. This Fire District, established by Collin County, designates an response area that exceeds 135 square miles. The Farmersville Fire District is second in coverage area size only to the City of McKinney and is larger than the fire protection area of the major metropolitan cities of Plano, Allen and Frisco.
